Is 18 November 2026 everyone's deadline?
No. 18 November 2025 started the mandatory identity-verification regime and its 12-month transition period. It should not be described as one universal personal deadline on 18 November 2026. Individual obligations depend on the person’s role and the relevant Companies House event.
Read the official Companies House transition guidance for the current rule wording.
Director identity-verification timing
Existing directors provide their personal code as part of the company’s next confirmation statement. New directors provide the code through the appointment or incorporation filing route. A director of more than one company needs to connect the verified identity to each relevant appointment.
See the focused director identity-verification guide for the role-specific distinction.
PSC identity-verification timing
Individual PSCs have separate obligations. When the PSC is also a director of the same company, the PSC 14-day period starts on the day after the company’s confirmation statement date. For an existing PSC who is not also a director of that company, the applicable period is generally the first 14 days of the PSC’s birth month. A new PSC after 18 November 2025 may provide the code when first added or within the applicable period.
Use the official role and timing guidance for the circumstances that apply to a particular PSC.
Why Statutrak does not calculate a substitute deadline
Statutrak reads public Companies House data. If an official due date is available, the checker can show it. If the record contains only a status, verification statement date or another official field, the checker shows that information instead.
A missing date is not the same as no action required. It means that the current public record or API response does not expose that date. Statutrak never converts an estimate into an “official” deadline.

Deadline FAQ
Is 18 November 2026 the deadline for every director?
No. 18 November 2025 marked the start of the mandatory regime and its 12-month transition period. It is not a universal personal deadline for every director or PSC.
When does an existing director need to act?
An existing director provides their personal code as part of the company’s next confirmation statement. The relevant confirmation-statement event, not a blanket calendar date, controls the action.
When does a PSC need to act?
The timing depends on the PSC’s role and circumstances. A PSC who is also a director of the same company has a PSC 14-day period starting the day after the confirmation statement date; other existing PSCs generally use the first 14 days of their birth month.
Why can I see a status but no due date?
Companies House may publish a verification status or statement date without exposing an official due date in the public API. Statutrak shows what is available and does not substitute an estimate.
Does Statutrak calculate deadlines?
No. Statutrak reads public Companies House fields. When an official due date is available, it is shown; when it is missing, no replacement date is calculated or presented as official.
Where can I verify my identity?
Use GOV.UK One Login or an Authorised Corporate Service Provider through the route described in the official Companies House guidance. Statutrak does not verify identity.
